Our Agilent MR400-DD2, now about 4-5 years old, has recently begun to turn
off without warning very occasionally. It's happened 3 times in the last 6
months. The breaker on the main power supply trips. It does this right in
the middle of operation. It seems to come back up readily although one time
it repeated this several times.
This is, of course, very concerning as the power supply/amplifier module is
in excess of $18K.
Has anyone else observed this? In lieu that, does anyone have any
suggestions for troubleshooting?
