I would recommend you join Spinsights - the Agilent NMR community website.
There are loads of people who can and will help you.

In brief, to answer your query - absolutely yes. You can create your own
parameter sets, save them as buttons in the Experiment Selector for rapid
recall if you wish to speed up your life even more, customise (and
store/retain) shimming/locking etc, and make each of these customisations
global to all users, or just specific to one or more.... Whatever you like.

If that's what you call "acting more like Topspin". Personally I'd call it
" acting like any reasonable instrument software should".
