Biochemistry and Biophysics in the College of Science here at Oregon Sate

Barbar lab is the structural biology of cytoplasmic dynein, a principal
motor for minus end directed transport along microtubules

Oregon State University invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) NMR
facility director position. The successful candidate will be responsible
for installing, operating and maintaining a newly purchased 800 MHz
spectrometer which will be primarily used for studying biological
macromolecules. The candidate will also oversee maintenance and operation
of 4 other spectrometers in the 400-700 MHz range with the assistance of the
current Small Molecule NMR Facility Manager. Candidates with demonstrated
expertise in solution NMR spectroscopy, excellent communication and
organizational skills, and are enthusiastic about collaborations and
