NMR Chemist—Job Number 1309995 located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea
Job Description:
The successful candidate will apply skills in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance to
sample analysis and discovery. The individual will be responsible for the
operation and maintenance of a 400 MHz Bruker Avance NMR spectrometer with
cryo- platform. The individual will perform all facets of NMR analysis
including research and development, product analysis, and customer support.
Analyses will include but not limited to proton, heteronuclear, and 2D NMR
and other state of the art experiments. Other areas of analytical
expertise are also desired.
Basic Qualifications:
• A Ph.D in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related science.
• Research related to NMR
• Experience in interpretation of 1D and 2D NMR spectra.
• The ability to communicate in written/spoken English and Korean.
• Record of applying scientific/engineering principles to a range of
complex technical or product areas.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, access and utilize resources (e.g.,
literature, internal experts, etc.)
• Demonstrated skills in technically sound oral and written communications.
• Successful completion of 100 percent or more of the technical course work
required for an accredited doctoral degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in polymer analysis
• Experience with Bruker Avance NMR.
• Strong technical and problem solving experience.
• Experience with all aspects of NMR maintenance and upkeep
