Dear All:
Thank you to the many generous people who have offered assistance in replacing the backplane on my old 1997 INOVA (10.5 MHz IF) console. It looks like I should be able to get my hands on both a backplane and a RefGen board soon. It shouldn't be long before I'll be able to get my second 500 back up and running.
Also, a special thank you to everyone for not poking fun at me for accidentally saying I had a 10.5 KHz Inova.... That wouldn't be a very effective Intermediate Frequency for an NMR spectrometer at all! It's been a very long, frustrating week, and this community of people is amazing. Where else in cyberspace could somebody make such a stupid mistake (even as a Type-O), yet every reply is 100% positive and helpful, and nobody used my mistake to try to make me feel stupid (even though I probably deserved it).
You are the best group of people in the world.
Sincerely,
-Rich Shoemaker
