Dear AMMRLers,

Thanks very much for replying on "how often do you change the aqs and bsms fans". Here is the summary:
8 votes for 'change the fans regularly, e.g., every 4/5 years or shorter if any is broken'
19 votes for 'wait until one broken', many of them pointed out that it is a lot of work and pain to change the fans, and better to do it during other repairs/upgrades.
One tip from Mike is 'place a thermometer directly in the exhaust airflow steam at the back of the console (back of AQS) to monitor the temperature. If an AQS fan fails, the thermometer will let you know'.
Also, change the door filter every year will certainly help.

Thank you very much!

Fei

Dear AMMRLers,

I would like to ask you, how often do you change the aqs and bsms fans in the console (Bruker)? Do you change all the fans regularly every four years as Bruker suggested? Or you wait until one of the fans became noisy/slow down/broken, then change all the fans? Thanks a lot.

Fei
