Hi all,

I'm developing the program for the AMMRL meeting of this year's ENC,
and I'm putting out the call for speakers and discussion topics.

This will be the 50th ENC, and the organizers are planning some
special events to commemorate this milestone. Would one of you
familiar with the origins of AMMRL give a brief presentation on its
initiation and evolution?

It would be pertinent to have some discussions related to the
economic downturn. Would you be interested in discussing cost-
cutting? Price negotiation? How about career issues like job
security, career paths, salary discussions, etc? How can a facility
director's "Plan A" be secured or improved, and what does one do for
Plan B?

Suggestions for other topics are certainly welcome.

Last year's format worked pretty well: we started with 5-minute
presentations, broke out into discussion groups, then came back to
talk about the conclusions/consensus opinions of the groups. Shall we
do the same this time? It minimizes the burden on the speakers/group
leaders, and can be more rewarding for the participants.

Please email me to let me know what you would like to talk about,
especially if you want to lead a discussion group and give a short
presentation.

Thanks.

- Josh
