I apologize if you get this twice. I forgot to put AMMRL in the subject
line the first time and I think it got filtered.

We are in the process of replacing a 300 MHz liquids instrument with a new
400.
The following equipment is available free to a good home.
300 MHz narrow bore Oxford Magnet - 21 years old, de-energized. Varian RT
shims. We cannot find the shipping restraints, but a set can be machined
pretty easily.
300 MHz Varian Gemini 2000 console. The lock channel died a month before
we ordered the replacement system, and so we did not bother to fix it. We
think the transmitter board is working fine and that the problem might be
the lock receiver.
Probes for 300 MHz
5 mm broadband (rarely used)
10 mm broadband (heavily used)
200 MHz “R2D2” narrow-bore Oxford Magnet, approximately 12 years old with
Varian RT shims - de-energized.
Note - there is no console to go with this magnet
Probe for 200 MHz
7 mm “Jacobsen”-style Varian CPMAS probe and manual air controller.
Low temperature liquid nitrogen dewar (rarely, if ever, used)
All items are “as is” with no expressed warranty. You are responsible for
packing up the system/magnets and shipping. We are located in the
Columbus, Ohio area. My preference would be to keep all of the 300 items
together in case someone wants to revive the system, but if I don't get a
reponse for the whole system, I will start splitting up the probes. I
would hate to see the system melted down for scrap metal.
