about one year ago I played a little bit with Jeol's software package.
That time I stopped the experiments due to some unsolved questions.
A few days ago I got the inspiration to start the experiments again.
Unfortunately the old challenges still exist.
But perhaps I am too stupid. Maybe there are easy solutions.
1. Licensing
I am installing the software as admin/root and also the license key.
That way the license is valid for admin/root but not for other users
sharing the same computer. They have to input the license key once
again.
2. UNC names for the Windows release of Delta
The Windows release of Delta assumes drive letters. Unfortunately within
our whole Windows environment I have only one drive letter. All other
data are stored using UNC. Of course the workaround is easy, one can
assign a drive letter for such an UNC path. Nevertheless this is extra work
and has to be axplained to all people.
3. Import of digital filtered Bruker data
During the default import procedure Delta doesn't recognize the digital
filter, which results in a transformed spectrum with huge first order
phase shift.
