> The laboratory contains 5 spectrometers: four 400 MHz systems and one 500 MHz system along with solid state NMR capabilities. NMR systems used include Bruker, Varian, and JEOL.

> The candidate will be an active participant in the global NMR technology team which consists of approximately 12 practitioners. This team is responsible for identification and development of new NMR technology and advancements of existing methodology which will provide value for the company.

> This role commonly interfaces with the Research and Development, Technical Sales, and Manufacturing functions. As such the individual must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to function effectively in a multifunctional team environment.

> The candidate must possess the right combination of theoretical and practical knowledge in order to effectively implement solutions and solve problems. The candidate should have a strong record of external publications (papers, conference presentations, patents) supporting their NMR background.

> The candidate will need to manage multiple long term and short term projects in parallel. Strong project management and prioritization skills are required.

> Minimum graduate school training and experience in advanced NMR spectroscopy technique development and practice. Experience in polymer analysis, polymer science, and with solid state NMR is a plus.
