Hello:
Our 800 MHz magnet uses a Leybold SV16 pump.
The original pump oil is GS32. After the oil level became low, I wanted
to
add more oil. According to the instruction of the pump manual, the GS32
oil is equivalent to HE-100 oil in US. Therefore, I bought HE-100 oil
from
Leybold which is the same company that made the pump.
After I added the HE-100 oil in the pump, I saw that almost half of the
oil
was lost within one month. I can not see any oil outside the pump.
What might be wrong?
What kind of pump oil (what brand) that you are using for your pump?
