Magnet shipping pieces

Dear Colleagues,

This mail is primarily directed at UK-based members of this group, but
if anyone further afield is able to help I would welcome hearing from
you also.

We are soon due to relocate our whole facility to a new laboratory which
will entail the complete decommissioning, packing and relocation of all
our instruments. One of these has a 1984 vintage Oxford instruments 500
MHz magnet (D15004 series dewar) for which we have no shipping pieces
(these appear to have vanished many years ago, long before my time here;
assuming, that is, they were left here after the installation process).

My question is: Is there anyone out there with a similar vintage/model
Oxford 500 magnet who still has the packing pieces and would be able to
lend them to us for a couple of weeks for the move (we would of course
arrange collection and return). Judging from the magnet manual the
pieces comprise a upper and lower plate with associated upper and lower
bungs, rather than a single long bore tube as in the later Oxford 500
magnets.

Alas, Oxford Instruments themselves do not keep pieces of that age and
although we do have shipping pieces for Oxford 500s from late 80s/early
90s, the packing design is significantly different and these are
unlikely to help.

Thanks in advance!

Tim.
