You need to specify if the ratios are 'plain spectral integral ratios',
'saturation corrected ratios', or 'absolute concentration ratios', as
well as the specific acquisition conditions (pulse sequence, TE, TR,
etc). Would you prefer to average tissue concentrations, or the acqueous
concentrations (70-80% water in the brain)?

A good book with a lot of info on neuro-NMR-spectroscopy is Else Rubaeck
Danielsen/Brian Ross: Magnetic resonance spectroscopy diagnosis of
neurological diseases. (Publisher: Marcel Dekker). Jens Frahms group has
has done important basic work on the normal tissue concentrations, as has
Gunther Helms (now at Tuebingen, Germany).

BTW, I don't have any specific values for hippocampus. You will probably
have to establish your own local normal values, obtained from a group of
matched, healthy volunteers.
