The successful candidate will be a member of a highly creative,
multidisciplinary team, and will generate high field multidimensional NMR
data to guide the design of either as chemical libraries or individual drug
candidates. The candidate must be very familiar with recent developments in
protein NMR spectroscopy techniques. The scientist will be responsible for
the development, enhancement and implementation of novel NMR techniques to
investigate the binding of small molecules to protein drug targets, as well
as methods for the automating the process. The candidate should have greater
than 5-years industrial experience in NMR-based drug discovery, experience in
supervision, and a substantive record of publication. Experience with Bruker
instrumentation, UNIX operating systems and molecular modeling will be given
