I have heard enough to persuade me to keep doing the industrial salary data
survey. I think I will do it separately, though, and perhaps employ
different criteria in looking for correlations.
Currently, we have (1) years since baccalaureate, (2) total MHz of
facility, (3) cost of living, and (4) number of subordinates reporting.
Perhaps this list of parameters should be expanded to include (5) number of
users.
In early January, I will set up an emailbox with a filter so that
industrial replies are segregated by Eudora. Perhaps there will be greater
response now that industrial AMMRL members see that I am treating the data
more "professionally" (if that's what you call "learning how to work Excel").
Meanwhile, I welcome suggestions on restructuring these surveys.
Remember - the only one who sees the raw data is me, and the data are
posted for the exclusive use of AMMRL members.
