For 19" LCD monitors, nothing is reasonably priced. We have four 18.1" NEC
1810X LCD monitors in the NMR lab and they are great. We got them from Dell
Gigabuys (on the Web) which at the time were cheaper than others, around
$2,500+. We had tried the Viewsonic 18.1 TFT LCD monitor but on our SGIs
there was a compatibility issue; the NEC monitors worked first time with no
effort.

Good luck.

AMMRL;

We are looking to replace 2 old 19" CRT monitors used on Sun Sparcs5's. We
also would like to buy a nice 19" LCD monitor for an Ultra -10 that has had
its CRT monitor damaged by the Magnetic fields.

Who knows good sources for resonably priced sun compatible monitors?

Thanks,
Robert Harker
