Colleagues:

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with 57Fe NMR in
a molecule that displayed temperature independent paramagnetism.
I suspect this is the reason that I cannot observe the 57Fe
absorption in my sample. I can get 1H and 13C NMR of a sample
which contains a complex anion, [FeH6]4-, and four complex
cations, [MgOR]+, in solution. There is strong broadening in
these lines which is more severe as the observed nucleus is closer
to the iron. Does anyone else believe that this is the case?
