Dear all,
We are having some discussion in our lab. about 31P standards. The standard
is phosphoric acid. There are three questions: 1. Is it 85% or dilute? This
makes a 0.67 ppm difference. 2. Is it H3PO4 in H2O or D3PO4 in D2O? This makes
a 0.26 ppm difference. 3. If it is 85% how does one prepare the correct
concentration accurately? Each 1% difference causes nearly a 0.01 ppm shift.
Thank you for your help.
Yours,
Roy.
