Hello dear spectroscopist,
We have a prodigy cryoprobe with our 500 MHz Bruker instrument. When the probe
is cool, the whole system works like a charm. But since maybe November, we have
a problem during the refill that seems to worsen each time. Indeed the prodigy
system turns to emergency warm up as soon as we unscrew the two stoppers of
the reservoir. The first time it happened, we were able to cooldown the probe
immediately after a refill. Nowadays, when I press "cooldown" following a refill,
I receive this error message after 10-30 sec:
"E4018E: Invalid LN2 Dewar Pressure measured. Starting Emergency Warmup.
DEWAR_PRESSURE4 -15.003mbar is not between -15.0mbar and 400.0mbar".
It is followed by a brief delay (less than 2 min) that ends up with a "Warm
- error" state that can be changed to "Wam" by pressing the "Warm up" button.
Generally, it needs 2-4 days after the refill to successfully cooldown the
probe. Once cold, we don't have any other problem. Do you have an idea of
what could be the cause of this problem?
Thank you in advance
