We have a Bruker Avance III 400 NMR spectrometer here with a BBO probe ...
and we had problems with the NMR spectra we were obtaining. I recalibrated
the 1H and 13C 90 degree observe pulses and, although I found the same result
for 13C at -19.85 dB, I found for 1H a much longer 90 degree observe pulse
of 500us at -15 dB. Previously, it was 22us at -15 dB. I was thinking that
maybe a capacitor has been damaged somehow but I can still tune and match
the probe for 1H, so I do not know what is the problem. It now creates
problem in the acquisition of 2D NMR experiments and also in decoupling 13C,
31P and 19F from 1H. Can anybody help???? Thank you in advance for your
answers.
Best Wishes,
Pierre Kempgens.
