AMMRLers,
I have seen this subject been mentioned recently, but no solution was
posted.
We are authenticating most of our users on our spectrometers (running
CentOS 7) through our university's LDAP server using nss-pam-ldapdand
would like to do the same for IconNMR users.
It looks, IconNMR sees all users in the local passwd file and in my
lab's NIS database, but can only authenticate passwords in the local
password file (nmr and nmrsu accounts) or those with password in my NIS
database, but not through ldap. If anybody has been successful in
getting IconNMR to work with ldap passwords, I would appreciate any
experience/advise they can share.
