Hello Varian/Agilent users-
We are having problems with an Agilent cryobay 7710CS which recently spontaneously stopped and won’t restart. There is communication to the cryobay from the console so it reads pressures and CLI, but no connection with the cry-con temperature controller so cannot get probe or CCI readings; it also keeps looping through a" turbo pump maintenance" routine. We think it is the ‘smartbox assembly’ which controls the valves, etc. Before ordering a new one ( non-refundable!) I would like to know if anyone has had similar issues or has any troubleshooting tips in order to nail it down.
