Thanks to all who replied - what a helpful group!
Most who replied use an insert from Norell that converts a 5mm spinner to hold 3mm tubes. At $60, that's the least expensive option.
Others use tubes from New Era that are 5mm at the top, and 3mm at the bottom, so fit in a 5mm spinner.
