Dear fellow NMRists,

We are considering moving one of our 300MHz (7.05T) magnets live and I
am inquiring the group on what precautions and moving equipment we
should consider. This magnet is nearly 20 years old and is unshielded.
We are concerned about getting it thru metal door frames and also we're
not sure what kind of moving equipment should be used. This magnet will
be moved down the hallway, at most 200 ft., and into another lab (so 2
metal door frames in between).

I know that such moves have been done by several of you in the past.
Unfortunately the AMMRL archives aren't searchable. We would appreciate
any input and advice that you may have to offer.

Thank you!

Monika
