Our 4 aspect 3000 computers have lost their lease.
They'll soon be recycled unless someone from the
Aspect Rescue League decides to take them in.
We'll deliver them free to our loading dock.
Not sure how we'd crate them and they are
difficult to handle, so would bill material
and labor unless you send us a box.
At least 2 of them were fully functional when
they retired, I *think* one has a tired power
supply, and one was from a FT-IR. We could be
persuaded to ship individual boards.
There are also ~4 SMD drives, 2 SCSI cards
with drives (one from David VanderVelde
while he was at Kansas), a bunch of 8" floppy
drives, a gaggle of 5.25" floppy drives, and
a few boxes of 8" floppy disks. We'll give
preference to educational institutions and
whoever requires less aspect lifting.
Be among the last to run a 24 bit computer
with enough power to weld a small battleship :).
I'd trade them all for a 300MHz 5mm 1H/13C
long body Varian probe. Ours is trying to retire.
Let me know if you want to sell one.
thanks,

In theory there is no difference between
theory and practice, but in practice there is.
