This may seem a little trivial, but I thought it might be worthwhile
asking if anyone had any advice about getting the Varian 28 channel
shim power supply out of an Inova console to change a fan on the
back. We tried pulling it forward, but only managed to get it out
about 3 inches before it stuck. Is it actually supposed to come
out, and is there some trick to getting it out all the way?
I know that on the console power supply Varian actually has designed
it with plugs into the side (curious decision for rack mounted
equipment), and though I couldn't see anything in the side of the
shim power supply, I could not see clearly enough to be sure. It
may of course only be screws underneath catching on something, but I
thought I'd ask before we start applying serious force to the thing.
