Solaris 9/UltraSparc/Mercury?

Colleagues:
    I am upgrading my Ultra5 to Solaris 9 in response to a hack I had
recently suffered. Although VNMR6.1C seems to work okay, none of the
autoshimming macros will work (i.e. the "Find Z0 button", "2H-Grad",
etc) as well as the probe_edit macro. This also it true for the Chempack
macro suite. This is attached to a Mercury-Vx. Is there any problems
with Solaris 9 and VNMR? Everything worked fine under Solaris 8.
