The mass spec instruments that cause problems for nearby NMR's are
magnetic sector instruments. A VG ZAB system (which we have used for FAB
work for a long time) would be a typical example. These instruments are
getting less common over time. As has already been pointed out, newer
quadrupole, time of flight, or MALDI systems are not such bad neighbors to
