        Thanks for the help! John Tomaszewski pointed out the following method:

         clradd jexp1 add jexp2 add
         jexp5
         setvalue('nt',<nt + extra_nt>,'processed')
         setvalue('ct',<ct + extra_ct>,'processed')
         wft

It worked like a charm.
