I found the lock discussion (rsh ..) a few days ago,
and want to append a tiny comment. If you have problems
with the BSMS unit sometimes a somewhat mystic
procedure is helpful.
Remove the serial cable from the LCB unit for
1.324 seconds (to be more correct, any time is
good -)) ) and reconnect. This is no bad joke, it
really works and has something to do with the
initialization of the on board elctronics of the LCB.
