NMR databases

Dear AMMRLers and VARNETers:
I want to build a H-NMR database in our company. Anybody knows how I=20
can start?
I've heart something about a Specinfo NMR database which connects NMR=20
spectra (from own spectrometer or from a external database) to other=20
chemical databases via ISIS. What do you know about this?

I have an Sparc5 with 1Gb internal hard disc. It's just enough for=20
data acquisition but not for a database. Next year, we plan to buy an=20
Ultra 5 or 10 to be used as a host computer, and connect it to our=20
internal net. I would like to know if the Ultra computer will be=20
enough for the database, or we will need some external hardware.

An additional question, we have the intention to work with the FIDs=20
and spectra with the PCs which are connected to the net. I know only=20
two solutions:
Install a terminal emulator like Xwin32 or Exceed in each PC=20
Install a specific NMR program in each PC like Felix
What is your opinion about it, do you know extra solutions?
