post-doctoral position in RNA NMR

A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work with Professors
Karin Musier-Forsyth and Deborah Kallick of the Department of Chemistry
and the Division of Medicinal Chemistry, respectively, at the University
of Minnesota, on structural determination of tRNA acceptor stems using
multinuclear, triple resonance NMR. One 500, two 600 and one 800 Mhz
Varian spectrometers are available in a new, well-supported facility. The
candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project, from sample
preparation & purification to structure determination using NMR and
computational techniques. Off line data processing is enhanced by the
adjacent basic sciences computing laboratory containing SUN and SGI
workstations. The intellectual and physical environment is excellent, with
several Structural Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry groups adjacent.
