AMMRL: RE: Liquid Helium in Canada Urgent

There's been some difficulty in Montreal the last couple of weeks. I had an order in well ahead of time for 250L this week, and last week I was asked if I could get by with 100L instead. I am supposed to get my original 250L tomorrow (instead of today, but I don't think that is 100% sure). I've heard of a few other people locally that have had trouble recently. Not sure why, I forgot to ask our supplier what the problem stemmed from.

Hi Ammrl,

Does anyone know where we can get Liquid Helium from in Toronto/Ontario/Canada (or even from the U.S. that delivers to Canada).
We have to fill 3 magnets and our supplier of 15 years just rang and told us they have no liquid Helium. They cancelled our order that was placed over a month ago with just days notice !
The magnets are ready to fill and we are not sure if they will last the Christmas break until Jan. Even if they do we are not sure if we can get liquid helium in Jan. Does anyone know of anyone we can order from ?
Prax Air cannot guarantee anything, Air Products are out completely.
We are open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks loads, Cheers
Andre
