Hello all,
There is an open position for an instrumentation support specialist here
at Hunter College, UES of Manhattan.
We are looking for an individual with good electronics troubleshooting
and computer skills to maintain and oversee an array of Chemistry
Department equipment. Having an interest in research would also be
beneficial. This is not an NMR specific post. Though, if someone wants
access to NMR we have a broadly capable and available set of instruments.
The position nominally requires a PhD, e.g. analytical chemistry.
However, experienced and qualified candidates without a PhD will be
considered. The previous person in this post had a BSEE and a successful
side business with our computational chemist.
The formal advertisement with application instructions is pasted below
(As seen in C&E News, etc.). Please pass on.
Matthew
