Morning All,
Having to replace a printer recently I tried to purchase a HP series
2400, but these
printers have been superseded by the 3500 series. Although I hated to
have to keep yet another type of cartridge on hand it seemed impossible
to get my hands on a 2420.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get the P3005 to work
(sol2.6/sparc 5/vnmr6.1C)
When it didn't work right off I went through the usual steps of
reinstalling the printer but
adddevices nor addPrinter nor admintool helped. The printer works on a
PC ok. I don't claim that it cannot be made to work but it does not
seem to be a "drop-in" replacement for earlier HPs.
