Hello all,
When NMR/MRI managers call the vendor with problems, what are the
realistic times for initial response from the vendor(s), problem
identification, and completion of repairs you experienced in the last,
say, 2 years? Was the instrument down (unusable) in the interim? What
do you consider acceptable and unacceptable duration for the particular
problem you encountered? Please, elaborate if you can. Were you under
warranty, service contract of some sort, or neither? Were specifics of
the turn around time in your purchase/service contract? Would you also
please indicate the type of magnet/vendor, size of facility (number of
instrumentss & users). Responses will be kept confidential if you so
wish - others will be compiled and posted back to the group so all can
benefit from this discussion.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond.
Best regards,
Sudha
