FINALLY, I learned how to use Microsoft Excel so that I could treat the
salary survey data properly. American academic data is now available at
http://labmanagers.com and will probably be mirrored at the address below.
I think those of us below should all try to move to the mean, then resurvey
ourselves and try to chase the new mean.
The utter lack of correlations you will see may actually be helpful. Here,
they tell us that we should be paid less because cost of living is low. I
do not see much correlation with CoL.
