University of British Columbia NMR Facility Manager
A Research Associate or Postdoctoral position is available immediately
in the NMR Facility of the UBC Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics. The
position will be for one year with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have postdoctoral experience or a minimum Ph.D.
degree (within the last three years) in solution and/or solid state NMR
spectroscopy of biological macromolecules, along with a working
knowledge of NMR instrumentation and software. Responsibilities will
include routine maintenance of three NMR spectrometers (400, 500, and
600 MHz) and associated computing facilities, training and supervision
of non-expert users, and assistance with NMR data acquisition. Salary
will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
