Sarah;

We use the Pureair systems with 10 year sensors too. There are some drawbacks
though:

They are not hardwired into AC mains of the facility. They use a little power
supply plugged into an AC power outlet which can add clutter. If you have or
have access to someone with soldering skills, the power supply cable lengths
can be modified without recalibration.

The sensor is mounted on a length of cable which can not be extended without
recalibration but you can order them to length. We did not, so we were limited
with sensor placement.

They were expensive.

Good luck,

Subject: [AMMRL] Oxygen sensor/monitor for NMR lab #Troubleshooting

Hi all,

I need to replace the oxygen sensor in my lab. The one I have is GFG ZD21
https://www.gfgsafety.com/us-en/products/fixed-gas-detection-systems-transmitter/zd21
and I have found that the sensors don't last very long and replacement ones are
very difficult to calibrate. Right now it is hard-wired in the wall with a sensor
at the ceiling and the floor. I don't really care too much about having two
sensors/channels with a replacement unit, but I have existing conduit to run
two sensors.

Would be interested in hearing what oxygen monitors you use in your labs/facilities.
I'd also be interested in a remote monitoring option if it isn't a zillion dollars.
