We use iLab software for scheduling NMR time and for billing. For the
spectrometers not running IconNMR, iLab takes care of everything through
the reserved and "walk-up" sessions scheduled in a spectrometer calendar
as a part of iLab. For the spectrometers in automation and running IconNMR,
we have to convert the ***.FULL log file into a CSV file that can then be
uploaded into iLab. The CSV file contains the user name, start and end time
and billing account information.
It all works, if not somewhat cumbersome, only when the account information
submitted by the user in IconNMR is correlated with the account information
in iLab. Currently, we use an Excel script the reads a spreadsheet with
name and account information and correlates this information with the user
submitted information. What would work better is to configure the lconNMR
logfile so it can then be directly uploaded into iLab.
Ilab software does allow for Bruker automation logs. It didn't work for
me. I think it depends on what words are used for the Originator items
and possibly their order in the ***.FULL file.
Anyone have success uploading IconNMR log files directly into iLab?
