Dear magnet supervisors,

having some magnets it becomes more and more difficult to keep the overview with respect to the cryogens.
Watching the helium level is rather easy, because at least in our environment each magnet is equipped with a sensor.
Some magnet also have nitrogen sensors, for some magnets we could purchase 3rd party nitrogen sensors.

For the moment I still have some magnets with small nitrogen filling ports (mainly from Oxford Systems).
These sensors (0,25 inch outer diameter) seem to be a reasonable solution.

Unfortunately none of the fittings seem to be appropriate for the magnets mentioned above.

Maybe there are experiences around using these sensors in connection with old Oxford or magnets with comparable filling
Ports around. I would be very happy to hear about these experience.

Greetings from Munich

Rainer
