AMMRL: Truncated Messages

Hi All,

Margret has posed two messages that were incomplete. My fault. Sorry.

Seems that some mailers like to limit the length of a line to so many
characters. Sometimes the period "." at the end of a line gets pushed
onto a new line all by itself. In this situation old mailers like
Postfix consider this the end of the message and blissfully ignore
everything else in the message.

Both yesterday and today I failed to notice these stray periods and sent
the message out resulting in abbreviated posts.

Again, my fault and I'll be more careful in the future. Hopefully :-)

Walt

BTW We can all make Walt's life a lot easier by remembering to put
"AMMRL:" in the subject line of an post to the list. Thank you.
