Dear AMMRL's
We went to do a helium fill on Friday and found the helium fill port
blocked. We were only able to insert the thumping tube down to a depth of
10-12 inches into the fill stack before it hit something solid (ice?) which
would not yield to pressure. Ours is an old Spectrospin/Oxford magnet (BZH
300/52) that was part of an old Bruker AM360 system (we have since upgraded
the console). Any advice on how to resolve the blockage without quenching
the system?
Thanks, in advance.
