Could someone familiar with VnmrJ software please help us on this issue? We have a Varian Unity Inova 500 with VnmrJ 2.2D on a Red Hat Linux Dell PC. After a recent reboot of the Linux PC, the VnmrJ software is showing 'Initializing' and no menu coming up. The communication between PC and the console has no problem. I can 'ping' to inova, inovaauto and wormhole with no error. /vnmr/bin/setacq works well. The problem happens for all accounts including vnmr1 account. If you have seen this problem before and know how to fix it, please let us know. Thank you very much in advance.
I also tried to re-install the software from the CD, however, the path '/media/VnmrJ 2.2D' is not recognized by the installation script due to the 'space' between 'VnmrJ' and '2.2D'. The script complains that '/media/VnmrJ: No such file or directory' ! The script is read-only and can't be modified. How do you solve this problem?
