As funding models in other countries may be quite different, these questions are directed primarily to my colleagues in Canada universities... Eh?
1. What percentage of you overall facility budget comes from user fees and what percentage comes from other sources (University budget, CFI, etc.).
2. How many full time equivalent staff positions do you have for your facility?
3. Are the staff salaries funded as part of your universities baseline budget? Or does a portion of these salaries have to be recovered from user fees?
Obviously, we are having some "funding discussions" here.
