There was a recent discussion on AMMRL about getting RF bricks from Varian
built amplifiers repaired. Most of those bricks were designed and
assembled by a company called CPC. You can find them at cpcamp.com.
They are willing to repair the RF modules which they built. (just the RF
brick portion)
You can contact their technical support group at

I am working to track down an intermittent issue on a AVANCE III right now
and Bruker has advised me to start by changing all of the BSMS and AQS/3
fans. They recommend this every 4 years but this system is at 7 years of
use. In a similar manner the airflow in those Varian chassis is critical
and I would recommend that if you see an amp failure and the system is
older you might want to verify proper fan operation (full normal speed is
important) or just replace the fans. I believe both Bruker and Varian paid
attention to and utilized high quality fans so I would not recommend
looking for similar specs from a cheaper fan manufacturer.
Regards,
Joe
