Hi all. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
I have had a request to measure the fat content of some oils by nmr. My
preliminary readings indicate that this is usually done using an
instrument such as a Bruker Minispec however I
would want to be able to do this using a 'regular' high-res spectrometer.
The main problem for me at this point is finding out exactly how this is
usually done. What is the preferred technique? How does it work? etc. I
would like to emphasize that I'm looking
for a *clear* explanation of the technique ... some journal articles leave
much to be desired in this area. Is there a standard reference for this
type of measurement? Have any of you done
this before?
Cheers.
