Dear Spinlanders,
I am living our collective worst nightmare. I had a 600 MHz magnet quench with almost no helium left (a slow quench at start=5days and fast at end). It looks like a joint overheated during the quench. We couldn't stabilize the magnet at 600 MHz, when we tried to recharge it. Ultimately, this magnet is a victim of the latest helium shortage.
I am looking for a used shielded 600 MHz magnet that needs a new home. Barring that, I need a 300 MHz Bruker Standard Bore Broadband solid probe. If you have either that you are willing to part with, please email me at mmorton4_at_unl.edu.
Thanks,
Martha
