POSITION OPEN: NMR LAB MANAGER
The Chemistry Department at Tulane University has an immediate opening for
an NMR Lab Manager. The Specialist will assist in overseeing the daily
operation of Varian Inova 400 MHz, Bruker DSX 300MHz (solids), and Bruker
Avance 300 MHz NMR spectrometers. Responsibilities include routine
maintenance and spectrometer performance tests, training new users,
spectrometer troubleshooting, and assisting users setting up special
experiments. Ideal candidates should have at least a M.S. degree in
Chemistry or related fields, three years NMR experience, and experience in
troubleshooting spectrometers (both RF and digital). Tulane University is an
