Simultaneous use of XWIN-NMR for Linux and Windows

Hi,

so far I have no significant news concerning the unexpected
frequency shifts. Meanwhile there seems to be some indication,
that this effect is present using conventional probes too.
The size of the frequency shift is much smaller (about 10
Hz) there and usually ignored due to fine tuning using gs.
But that's all available information until now.

A new problem.
A lot of interesting data are stored within the exp directory of
XWIN-NMR, i.e. the roi files. It is desirable to use these
informations independent from the actual workstation within
a local network. Using the XWINNMREXP environment variable
you can easy achieve this even for the three different
operating systems. Unfortunately the exp branch contains
executables too. And of course a SGI executable will fail at
a Linux station.
Any ideas how to avoid this problem?

Best regards
